Frate 50° Table by Driade: 50 Years of History

The Frate Table by Driade, designed by Enzo Mari, celebrates half a century with a Limited Edition of 50 pieces. These exquisite pieces are numbered and laser engraved with the artist's signature.

This table is an icon of Italian design and one of the brand's bestselling products. It has been produced continuously since 1973, and was created by Enzo Mari, a Milanese master designer and a visionary and pioneer of creative thinking.

The table is built from a beautiful 12 mm thick rectangular tempered glass top and a structure is made of steel sections painted in anthracite black, connected by a beam in raw oak.

Enzo Mari’s works are on display in prestigious museums around the world, such as the Venice Biennale, the Milan Triennale, the Charlottenburg Schloss in Berlin, the M.I.C. in Faenza, the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, and the MoMA in New York. During his lifetime, he received several awards for the quality of his research, including four Golden Compasses.
