Plume: New Chair from Giorgetti

Versatile, refined and airy, the new Plume chair by Giorgetti is inspired by the lightness of a feather. It was designed by Dainelli Studio, an architectural firm based in Milan, which handles both product design and interior design projects. The pair focuses on continuous research into aesthetics and form, and this has resulted in a refined design, attentive to proportions and the harmony between shapes, colours, materials and finishes. Each project brings with it a profound design culture combined with the knowledge of industrial and artisan production techniques and processes.

The Plume chair has a solid ash frame and an upholstered plywood seat that is raised from the frame by four cylinders. The foam backrest has a rigid back and a soft front. It’s fastened to the frame with screws covered with removable Pau Ferro plates, and details such as piping along the seat and the back covering the zipper make it unique.
