Concreto, the Outdoor Collection by Paola Lenti
Paola Lenti has unveiled a new collection of outdoor furniture called Concreto. The creativity of Francesco Rota and the craftsmanship of Simona Sporchia have combined to form this collection, which is made from a new technological material.
The table and the bench are divided into five modules each, in a dialogue between different 'themes'.
The monolithic dimensions and robust appearance are quite impressive, and the collection’s name captures the attention of everyone. The table and modular bench are designed in five components of the same size forming the surface or the seat, and these are supported by two bases of equal thickness.
Each module is built from a mixture of limestone, clay, aggregates and pigments. This technical compound, designed to withstand outdoor conditions, was created following a lengthy testing period which produced three variants.
Delicate colours emerge on the surfaces, depending on how the material was applied during the construction process. Two ornamental versions, Lias and Clastos, are also available.
