Luigi Allievi and sons founded Porada in 1968. The company's mission included manufacturing and distributing chairs but soon a decision was taken to widen the production to other furniture sectors.

So, the cooperation with designers Alberio, Cerbaro and M. Perego, coincides with the first line of home furniture accessories, called "Linea 91".

Hence the characteristics of new collections will include tradition and contemporary, care for details and essentiality, where handcraft skills in solid wood manufacturing meet more modern material such as steel and plastic.

Porada currently produces a wide range of types of furnishings and accessories for every area in the home and office: large and small tables, chairs, benches, armchairs and sofas, living room systems, cupboards and TV cabinets, mirrors, beds, night tables, wardrobes, desks, bookcases and lighting.
