Chiara Table Flos

Created by Mario Bellini specifically for Flos, the Chiara table lamp bears the designer's signature.

The lamp provides an optimal amount of light for reading and general lighting. The Chiara light has a reflector body made of aluminium and comes in three different colours. The interior is covered in matte white plastic fibre.

With the help of stainless-steel anchoring systems welded on the sheet metal, the diffuser is folded and closed on the base body, creating an enveloping and irregular shape. Soft and sinuous forms are emphasized in the Chiara lamp's silhouette by a coloured molded rubber gasket. The lighting system as a whole is supported by the extruded aluminium stem base, making it both sturdy and reliable.
A dimmer controls the power output and thus the brightness of the lights.

The Chiara lamp successfully marries minimalism and cleverness to create an enduring piece of lighting.
