Designer Paola Navone is credited with developing a new bed for Baxter that would combine aesthetics and practicality in the most successful way possible. The result is the Summer bed. The graphic incisiveness of the soft and basic shapes is the result of a design that is adaptable and practical.
The dynamic appearance of the form is a result of the three-band framework that holds it together. Honeycomb beech and poplar are used for the whole frame of the Summer bed. The bed's profile is drawn in a style that is both elegant and sophisticated, thanks to the visible stitching, which complements each and every element extremely well. The headboard's back panel is covered in leather that can be removed, and the headboard's feet are constructed of beech wood.
The soft cushioning, which has a variable density, makes the structure of the bed lighter on both a formal and functional level. This invites the user to enjoy relaxation while allowing oneself to be engulfed by the design aesthetic of this piece of furniture.
