Designer Baxter P. is credited with the design of the Ronchamp table for Baxter.
The fluid, sinuous asymmetries that define the table are a perfect synthesis of technical prowess and creative leeway. The large marble countertop has a gentle form and a bevelled edge. Legs made of insulating poly fiber are coated in leather to form the frame. The visual design is recreated by the empty and full spaces that are found between the curving sections of the legs, which in turn makes the design of the table incredibly variable and intriguing.
The Ronchamp table has a warm, enveloping style that is further accentuated by the marble veining and intricacies. To be distinct and genuine, a product must experience changes as a result of its exposure to different conditions, and these changes should be celebrated.
