Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez collaborated on the design of the Monsieur Modular sofa for Baxter. It combines minimalist elegance with contemporary craftsmanship to create a design that is both essential and comfortable.
The design focuses on the formal side by using linear and rigid shapes to create a plush padded seat with ample lumbar support and ample legroom. The polyurethane foam padding ensures comfort and well-being by equally dispersing weight, preventing the development of pressure spots, and enhancing the quality of well-being. The modularity of the various systems makes it possible to configure them in a variety of different ways, ranging from the most conventional to the most modern and angular. This provides a great deal of versatility and adaptability.
Honeycomb poplar and fir are used for the framework. The Monsieur Modular sofa's acrylic fiber covering comes in a variety of colours to match any decor and complement the existing furnishings.
