The Tortello armchair, conceived by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby for B&B Italia, is distinguished by its eye-catching, monolithic design.

The frame, made of recycled polyethylene by rotational molding, takes the form of a tray with a trapezoidal base, supporting a comfortable elastomeric mattress. The top, upholstered in fabric with a distinctive “pinched” seam, provides a soft, enveloping volume. Modularity and assembly without interlocking adhesives allow the Tortello armchair to be completely dismountable and easily recyclable.

The Tortello armchair is available with Lissy Giallo fabric upholstery and in dimensions of 118 x 96 x h 42/78 cm.
