The Portofino armchair was designed by Vincent Van Duysen for the Paola Lenti collection.

Its design is characterized by solid volumes and linear, rigorous geometries. The solid wood structure, available in various finishes, with a stainless steel seat and an internal spring system on elastic straps, balances the welcoming design of the seat and back cushions. The structure is partially upholstered in Madras or Tamil fabric. The seat and back cushions are removable, featuring upholstery in the collection's fabrics, and ensure outdoor use of the piece.

Enhancing the solidity of the forms is the combination of wood with a material like steel, imbuing the armchair with renewed stylistic modernity. The Portofino collection won the GOOD DESIGN AWARDS 2016 in the furniture category.
